Design your pooch their very own luxe collar.
Due to the small size of the canvas we will be treating these classes as ‘drop-in’ sessions, show up for however long or as little as you’d like. If you are planning elaborate artwork utilise the full two hours. Spend as much or as little time designing during this two hour window.
Similar to the Build a Bag workshop, we use erasable pens to plan out the design directly onto the leather, then we paint! We do have templates or go rogue and have fun with something abstract or splash paint! Unfortunately we do not offer Appliqué on the collars as they are too narrow.
Before attending class it is vital that you take your dogs measurement. These collars are tailor made to fit. We recommend measuring from the base of the buckle to the most used hole. We will add 2 holes either side to allow for growth/haircuts. By all means bring a collar to class with you and we can make sure it fits perfectly.
In terms of sizes we will have the choice of 3 thicknesses. Choose your buckle/ring metal colour too. Each collar is lined in a neutral luxe calf leather… only the best for your four legged friend.
Please note there is NO SEWING in this session. Founder Lorna Nixon will assemble/sew your collars and they will be ready for collection or shipment 2 weeks after class.
Location1 Suez street WA11EF. In the centre of Warrington, about a 10 minute walk from either Bank Quay station or Central Station. There are 2 multi story car parks close by; Golden Square or Times Square. Street parking is free on Sundays and evenings after 5.30pm. Accessibility to our shop: upon entry we have 3 steps (due to the narrow street we unfortunately do not have ramp access), we can seat up to 14 people on the ground floor. We have more seating on the 1st floor, accessible only by stairs. Please let us know if you require a seat on the ground floor and we will do our best to accommodate.
Class price is £25 & includes all materials. Each session runs up to 2 hours!
No tools necessary we will provide everything you’ll need. As we will be painting we highly recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting a little messy, we will provide aprons.
